Aerotech 29mm Composite Model Rocket Motor Single Use F23-4FJ(2pk) AER 62304 <Required to Pay for UPS or Ground Advantage Shipping>
Fast Jack Propellant
Ammonium Perchlorate Composite
Single Use Motor
These high performance, composite propellant model rocket motors use the same family of solid propellant as NASA’s Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA’s future SLS moon rocket. They utilize a patent pending high-strength polymer case and bulkhead, polymer nozzle and RCSs exclusive Black Max™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a visible black exhaust plume and a denser dark tracking smoke. Black Max™ motors provide a higher level of thrust than White Lightning™ motors of the same total impulse and are perfect for high lift-off acceleration.
This AeroTech motor pack comes with 2 rocket motors and 2 FirstFire™ Jr. Initiators. This AeroTech motor is U.S. mailable with no hazmat fee!
Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Barely an "F" impulse motor, but smoky exhaust is nice effect.
These motors have less impulse than the comparable F27, F20, and F42 perhaps due to the propellant. The smokey "Black Max" propellant provides a nice effect at the expense of power. My 16oz Estes Pro Series Nike Smoke went to about 400' very slowly but stable, on this motor. I think for rockets weighing less than 16oz dry, it is fine.
