Aerotech 29mm Composite Model Rocket Motor Single Use F27-4R(2pk) AER 62704 <Required to Pay for UPS or Ground Advantage Shipping>
Red Line Propellant
Ammonium Perchlorate Composite
Single Use Motor
Includes 2 Motors and 2 Starters
These high performance, composite propellant model rocket motors use the same family of solid propellant as NASA’s Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA’s future SLS moon rocket. They utilize a patent pending high-strength polymer case and bulkhead, polymer nozzle and RCSs exclusive Redline™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a visible scarlet flame. Redline™ motors burning rate lies midway between that of White Lightning™ and Blue Thunder™. Photos don’t do justice to the “laser-beam” intensity and color of Redline™…. you have to see it to appreciate it!
This AeroTech motor pack comes with 2 rocket motors and 2 FirstFire™ Jr. Initiators. This AeroTech motor is U.S. mailable with no hazmat fee!
Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).

Great for Estes Partizon/Ventris
Good economical Motors for Estes PSII kits like the Ventris and Partizon. I have flown one of these motors in each rocket. Slow but stable flight to 500-600 feet in each case. The 4 second Delay is about right for Leviathon/Ventris/Partizon/Argent. Thrustcurve.org will say the F27 does not have enough velocity (47fps) leaving the launch rail to be safe (50 fps). Both of my flights were fine. Use a long enough rod/rail and don't try for a longer delay - 4 seconds only.
