As a hobbyist I thoroughly enjoy building and finishing flying model rockets.  Yeah, you need to fly them at least once, but building is the most fun for me.  I started as an Estes only guy, but later discovered that there are a lot of creative options out there.  Back in 1979 I tried to build a complete selection of the Mini Brutes found in that years catalog.

Does anyone out there build anything unusual like that?
