The perfect way to get started in model rocketry!

The Quick-Q Flying Model Rocket Starter Set combines the rugged Quick-Q Quick-Kit, and a complete launch system. Everything you need for your first day of flying model rockets.  Motors and Recovery Wadding Sold Separately.  The launch equipment can be used to continue your adventure and fly the entire fleet of Quest model rockets.

The Quick-Q rocket does not require painting or finishing beyond the application of self-adhesive decals. It features colored body tubes, plastic nose cone and molded plastic fin-can assembly, plus Kevlar/elastic shock cord system, quick-release motor mount, self-adhesive decals and 14 inch recovery parachute.

The Lift-Off Launch Pad has tilt adjustment, rocket stand-off, 36-inch two-piece launch rod, and a metal blast deflector. The Q2 Launch Controller features blinking LED arming lamp, beeping “armed” alarm, and launch key with safety flag. One 9-volt snap-top battery is required for the launch controller operation - Not Included.

What is needed to build and fly

All model rockets come in kit form that require assembly.  The materials are primarily cardboard tubes, balsa or plastic fins and nose cone.  Materials will vary by model and are typically specified in the description of each kit.
