Estes Flying Model Rocket Kit Super Orbital Transport EST 7314
Upsized redesign of a classic kit! Ultra-realistic styling and spectacular parachute/glider dual recovery make this one a standout. Features laser-cut wooden components and a construction jig for speedy and accurate assembly. Two sheets of detailed, three-color decals complete the authentic look and feel of a future space liner. Launches up to 800 ft. on a recommended Estes C or D engine. The Estes Super Orbital Transport looks like the real thing and flies like a dream!
The return of a classic! The original Estes Orbital Transport was a “must have” kit for a generation of rocketeers. Now, the new Estes Super Orbital Transport is here and ready to inspire a new generation! Based on early NASA designs for what would ultimately become the Space Shuttle, this Estes model envisions an era of routine commercial space travel. The powerful booster rocket is patterned after the supersonic airliners of the period and was created to carry the attached passenger spacecraft into orbit. These imagined vehicles would land separately as aircraft, ready for reuse and relaunch with minimal turnaround.
The new Estes Super Orbital transport is the bigger and updated version of the original kit. Re-engineered with laser-cut wood structural components, custom jigs to aid in accurate and speedy construction, a set of high-quality plastic nose cones, and two sheets of detailed, three-color decals to replicate the 1969 kit. This new model recreates the strikingly realistic look and feel of the original, only bigger!
Dazzling dual recoveries are the hallmark of the Estes Super Orbital Transport. Launches under the powerful thrust of the recommended Estes C or D engines are equally impressive! This model lifts off upright in the traditional rocket launch configuration. At the peak of flight, the piggy-back glider detaches and begins its winged decent while the booster section returns under its own 18 in. parachute.
The Super Orbital Transport is the Estes revival you don’t want to miss! Be part of the new tradition – build and fly this remarkable model today!
