Better Than Plastic
Many of my rocket builds for Estes, Semroc, etc. come with plastic parachutes. For 18mm and smaller motor flights, plastic is fine. However, switching to a 24mm or larger really requires this thin, ripstop parachute because it doesn't add significant weight, but also doesn't rip apart if you fly with non-Estes motors. This particular parachute has helped me retrieve all of the rockets that use it.
